Pearls or diamonds are good choices. In terms of footwear, female principal sponsors can wear platforms or low-heeled closed shoes. As for the male principal sponsors, they can wear patent pumps or oxfords. Boots and slippers are obviously too casual, hence, you should not even consider wearing them for this event.
